Battery health
Measures how much charge actually goes in each time you charge, and estimates the capacity your battery can hold now and its health (%) compared with new.
Three methods, cross-checked
Calculates capacity separately from the charge counter, integrated charging current and the resting voltage before charging, then uses the median of recent sessions. On devices where they disagree, it switches to the more reliable method.
Charging history
Records the charge added, duration, temperature and internal resistance of every session, so you can see how your battery changes.
Charge alert
Notifies you when charging reaches the level you set. The status notification can be live, simple or hidden.
Home-screen widgets
Five widgets for health, charge level, current battery status and recent charging.
FAQ
When does health appear?
After three charging sessions of 25% or more. Charging in very cold or hot conditions is left out.
Why is the notification always there?
Android doesn’t tell closed apps when a charger is connected, so the app has to keep running to catch every session. You can collapse the notification by choosing “Hidden” in settings.
Recording keeps stopping.
Some phones stop apps under battery optimization. Set CellSight’s battery usage to “Unrestricted” in Android settings.
What goes in rated capacity?
The battery capacity (mAh) from the manufacturer’s specifications. Leave it empty to use the value the device reports.
Where do I change ad consent?
